Immobilized plant cell cultures of Capsicumfrutescens Mill. were treated with the ferulic acid and vanillylamine in order to study their biotransformation ability. It was found that ferulic acid and vanillylamine were biotransformed to capsaicin and vanillin. Ferulic acid treated cultures produced m
