Pump manufacturer introduces range of mechanical seals

Goulds has introduced a new mechanical seal designed to fit the 3196, 3410, 3180 and 3175 ranges of pumps. The aim is to provide a mechanical sealed pump at a lower price.

These are available as single and double cartridge mechanical seals, offering carbon versus silicon carbide or silicon carbide versus silicon carbide seal faces with Aflas O-rings. The SP1 Single Seal and SP2 Double Seal are designed as a robust and reliable mechanical seal at an affordable price. The seal face and elastomer materials together with 316 stainless steel are designed to provide a wide range of application flexibility. There is a standard restriction/disaster bushing on the single seal.
