Abstract
In this article, we have investigated printed double‐T monopole antennas for triband applications. A close form formula for calculating the antenna resonance frequency is reported. Such printed monopole antennas are compact, less fragile, planar, and easy for design and fabrication. © 2009 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. ## Abstract In this paper, a novel compact printed monopole antenna with multiband operation for wireless local area networks (WLAN) is presented. A simple C‐shaped strip and a straight strip of this antenna provide two resonant paths to achieve 2.4‐, 5.2‐, and 5.8‐GHz multiband operation. Good sim
## Abstract In this article, a novel design of printed coplanar waveguide‐fed monopole antenna is proposed for triple‐band WiMAX applications. At first, we investigate the printed dual‐band monopole antenna for dual‐band operation with two bands of 2.37–3.64 GHz and 5.2–6 GHz. Since the lower band
## Abstract A printed monopole with coplanar waveguide‐fed antenna for ultra‐wideband applications is proposed. The proposed antenna includes a rectangle‐shaped patch as a radiator, two ground planes with symmetrical notch, and feed excitation. It covers the all ultra wideband (UWB 3.1–10.6 GHz) an
## Abstract A compact semi‐elliptical patch antenna fed by a tapered coplanar waveguide is introduced for super‐wideband (SWB) applications. The simulated and experimental results demonstrate that the antenna possesses the desirable SWB characteristics, achieving a ratio bandwidth of 19.7:1 for VSW
## Abstract A compact and simple design of a printed monopole antenna on a thin substrate for ultra‐wideband applications is presented. The antenna size is 30 × 36 × 0.4 mm^3^ and operates over an extremely wide band of 2.82–13.60 GHz. The proposed design consists of a coplanar radiator and a groun
