## Abstract We examined the hypothesis that serum concentrations of circulating androgens and sex hormone binding globulin (SHBG) are associated with risk for prostate cancer in a case‐control study nested in the European Prospective Investigation into Cancer and Nutrition (EPIC). Concentrations of
