✦ Synopsis
Abstract
2,4‐Diamino‐6‐(diallylamino)‐s‐triazine‐2,4‐^14^C was prepared from K^14^CN in a four step sequence of reactions. The product was obtained in 26% yield at a specific activity of 1.01 mCi per mM. This product was converted to the hypotensive agent, 2,4‐diamino‐6‐(diallylamino)‐s‐triazine‐2,4‐^14^C 3‐oxide in 37% yield by oxidation with m‐chloroperbenzoic acid.
