✦ Synopsis

Abstract

Growth conditions of cadmium telluride single crystal layers on germanium (111), (110), (100), (112) substrates in quasi‐closed β€œsandwich” system in a hydrogen atmosphere, were investigated in this paper. The peculiarities of layer morphology for the different orientations are presented.

## Abstract The morphology was investigated of the cadmium sulphide epitaxial layers, grown on germanium substrate with orientation (111), in a quasi‐closed β€œsandwich” system in hydrogen atmosphere. Regular hexagonal compound pyramids were observed, tipped and truncated, with a plane slope abruptly
