✦ Synopsis

ARSTRACIY Theorems are stated and proved fhat provide necessuty and sufficient conditions for practical stability of discrete-time systems.

The first part of the paper deals with stability and instability with respect to time-uarying sets, whereas the second part is devoted to the study of final and semi-final stability. The conditions obtained, which take the form of existence of discrete Lyapunou-like functions, generalize previous results.

## Abstract A theorem by Hadamard gives a two‐part condition under which a map from one Banach space to another is a homeomorphism. The theorem, while often very useful, is incomplete in the sense that it does not explicitly specify the family of maps for which the condition is met. Recently, under

This paper addresses the exponential stability and estimates the stability degree of discrete systems with a time-varyiny delay and uncertainties. On the basis of the Lyapunov stability theorem together with the improved Razumikhin type theorem and norm techniques, several new delay-independent crit
