## We develop an adaptive control technique for the regulation of a class of linear, discrete-time, time-varying system. The only a priori knowledge required is a bound of the varying component of the parameters. The result is concerned with global behaviour.

## Abstract The robust stability of discrete singular systems with timeβvarying delay is considered. New delayβdependent stability criteria are proposed, which are dependent on the minimum and maximum delay bounds. A strict delayβdependent linear matrix inequality (LMI) condition is obtained for a
A new decomposition-coordination approach is presented to design control laws for linear discrete-time systems with distributed lags. By a proper decomposition of the criterion, one obtains a control law with partial feedbacks and an open loop part in order to satisfy the optimality conditions. On-l
