✦ Synopsis
Concentrated H2S04 has proved to be an extremely useful calibrant for both positive ion and negative ion FAB mass spectrometry. It is a single compound, commonly found in any laboratory, and presents a clean, simple spectrum, with only approximately 100 peaks needed to achieve calibration up to at least m / z 1500.
