โœฆ Synopsis

The liquid state dispersions of a number of triglycerides at 200 C and at 400 C are presented. From these data we have calculated the Lorentz-Lorenz and the Gladstone-Dale molar dispersions. A previously derived general equation is used to compute a quantitative relation between the dispersion of a mixture of triglycerides and its refractive index, density, and iodine value.
