## Abstract Amino semitelechelic poly(__N__‐isopropylacrylamide) (PNIPAAm) was prepared by radical polymerization with aminoethanethiol hydrochloride as a chain‐transfer agent. Semi‐interpenetrating polymer network (semi‐IPN) hydrogels, composed of alginate and amine‐terminated PNIPAAm, were prepar

## Abstract A pH sensitive hydrogel was obtained by __γ__‐ray radiation polymerization of AAc in aqueous solution. The temperature sensitive monomer NIPAAm or the same pH sensitive AAc monomer was then grafted to the PAAc hydrogel with gamma radiation. The comb‐type graft polymers obtained __net__‐
