β¦ Synopsis
The peel force as a function of displacement was determined for debonding inextensible adhesive strips with an extensible boundary constraint. Using differential energy balance methods, a closed form expression for the peel force was obtained and found to be in excellent agreement with experimental studies. A solution was obtained in terms of the adhesive fracture energy and a modulus parameter for the constraint. The analysis was applied to both loading and unloading deformation modes. Recovery phenomena in the rest state was discussed.

## Abstract **Summary:** Styrene (S) and methyl methacrylate (MMA) copolymers were prepared with acrylates, such as butyl acrylate, 2βethylhexyl acrylate and acrylic acid, for application as pressure sensitive adhesives (PSA). The copolymer compositions were designed to provide constant glass trans
