## Abstract Serum immune complexes were measured in 22 patients with eosinophilic fasciitis, 8 of whom had serial determinations. Elevated levels were found by Raji cell radioimmunoassay in 14 (64%) patients, by agarose gel electrophoresis in 13 (59%), and by C1q agglutination‐inhibition in 9 (41%)

For assessing the role of circulating immune complexes (CIC) in chronic hepatitis C, the relative frequency of CIC was determined in 54 patients with chronic hepatitis C, 15 asymptomatic hepatitis C virus (HCV) carriers, and 54 healthy controls. IgM and IgG containing CIC were studied using both C l

We read with interest the report by Dr. Bodenheimer et al. (1) of elevated circulating immune complexes (CICs) in primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC). Although not stated in the paper, we are the first to suggest that CICs may play a role in the pathogenesis of PSC. We recently described elevated C

## Abstract Sera from 62 patients with osteogenic sarcoma and 12 with malignant giant‐cell tumour were tested for the presence of immune complexes by the ^125^I‐Clq binding assay. Elevated serum Clq binding activity was found in 67.7% of the osteogenic sarcoma patients and in 75% of the giant‐cell
