Orally Active Indole N-Oxide PDE4 Inhibitors. -An efficient synthesis to prepare a novel series of potent phosphodiesterase type IV inhibitors (VI) is described. Derivative (VIa) shows a good emetic and pharmacokinetic profile comparable to that of RP73401. -(HULME, CHRISTOPHER; ET
