The reaction of one equivalent of In with a molten flux of (Ph 4 P) 2 Se 5 and P 2 Se 5 (1 : 2), at 250 Β°C gave the (Ph 4 P)[In(P 2 Se 6 )] (I). Stoichiometric elemental synthesis at 750 Β°C produced the Cs 5 In(P 2 Se 6 ) 2 (II). The thin, yellow crystals of (I), and the irregular, dark orange cryst

The ligands [Ph 2 (S)PNHP(X)Ph 2 ] -(X = O, Se) react with InCl 3 coordination geometry in 2 resembles that observed in the three analogous tris-chelates incorporating the corres-in a 3:1 ratio to give a tris-chelate [In{Ph 2 P(O)NP(S)Ph 2 -O,S} 3 ]β’0.75 C 6 H 6 (2) and the unexpected pentacoordinat
