## Abstract In a search for new probes to detect β‐amyloid plaques in the brain of patients with Alzheimer′s disease, the radioiodinated quinoxaline derivative (I) is found to show specific labeling of Aβ plaques.

## Abstract Uncharged derivatives of thioflavin‐T have known __in vitro__ and __in vivo__ affinity for amyloid β. We synthesized and evaluated two derivatives with a fluorine‐18 labelled fluoropropoxy substituent either at the 6‐position or at the 2′‐position of the 2‐(4′‐aminophenyl)‐1,3‐benzothia
## Abstract The promising __β__‐amyloid PET imaging agent, [^11^C]‐6‐OH‐BTA‐1, has been radiolabelled in one step using [^11^C]‐methyl triflate. No protection of the 6‐hydroxy group is required, greatly simplifying the synthetic method. The reaction may be carried out in solution or by the captive
2~-carbomethoxy-3~-(4-["Br]bromophenyI)tropane (f6Br]P-CBT) was prepared either by electrophilic substitution from the tributyl-stannyl derivative and peracetic acid as oxidant or by nucleophilic substitution from the iodo analogue (PCIT) and a Cu' assisted bromodeiodination exchange. After purifica
