โฆ Synopsis
P 4 S 10 reacts with (Me 3 Si) 2 NH, to give SP(NHSi-Me 3 ) x (SSiMe 3 ) 3โซืโฌx , where x โซืกโฌ 0-3. These species were shown by 31 P NMR spectroscopy to subsequently form cyclic and linear condensation products. The molecular structure of a linear trimer (Me 3 SiNH)P(S)[(l-NH)P(S)(NHSiMe 3 ) 2 ] 2 , 12, was authenticated by an Xray diffraction study.

The stability of molecules possessing coordinate covalent bonds to sulfur and phosphorus is well established. Such systems include sulfofides, sulfilimines, phosphine oxides, phosphine sulfides, and phosphlne Imines. In view of the stability of these systems, it is perhaps somewhat surprising that t
Quantum chemical calculations of the reaction of hexamethyldisilazane with silica indicates a two-step mechanism. The first, rate-determining step results in trimethylsilylation of a surface silanol and formation of trimethylaminosilane. The second step involves reaction of a trimethylaminosilane re
We present new classes of graphs for which the isomorphism problem can be solved in polynomial time. These graphs are characterized by containing -in some local sense -only a small number of induced paths of length three. As it turns out, every such graph has a unique tree representation: the intern
