The first compound of a true TurnbullΠs Blue family [i.e. an iron(II) hexacyanoferrate(III)] complex with valence-trapped states of iron Ukrainian Red, UR) was synthesized. It crystallizes in the trigonal space group P3, a = 12.038(8) A Λ, b = 12.038(8) A Λ, c = 14.342(7) A Λ, Ξ± = 90.00Β°, Ξ² = 90.00
Ah&act-The reactions of iron oxide (45 wt.% FQO,, 55 wt.% SiO,) with a hot gas containing Hz, CO and Hz!3 were investigated over a temperature range of 60&9OU'C. Preliminary studies indicated initial fast reduction of FezOa to spongy iron, which reacted slowly with the H2S to form iron sulfide. Henc
