N,O, reacts with 02-ion in LiCl-KC1 eutectic at 450" to give NO,-. By analogy to the salts of the other oxides of Group V, NO,-can be considered as metanitrate and is expected to giveunder appropriate conditions-the corresponding pyro-salt. Experiments are described in which the 02-ion in LiCl-KC1 m
This paper first presents thermodynamic considerations for the concentration dependence of the thermoelectric power in a molten salt system, and then presents experimental data for the Cu/Cu+ and Ag/Ag+ couples in a LiCl-KC1 eutectic melt. The experimental data show good agreement with the derived t
