โฆ Synopsis
Both DNA and RNA domains and microdomainsรto a certain degree comparable to self-organizational mesophase areasรhave been visualized as graphite surface adlayers by scanning force microscopy in contact force mode. More polar substrate surfaces, sharper tip geometries and tapping mode procedures proved less favourable, due to sample distortions and prevention of organization within the adlayer by dominant adhesive forces in the interface.

Ubiquitous but highly variable processes of therapeutic protein aggregation remain poorly characterized, especially in the context of common infusion reactions and clinical immunogenicity. Among the numerous challenges is the characterization of intermediate steps that lead to the appearance of prec
We report on investigations of spin-coated peat humic acid solutions by scanning force microscopy allowing, for the รrst time, direct imaging of individual single humic acid molecules with a minimum diameter of 1.5-3.5 nm. The measured height of the molecules deposited onto a mica substrate increase
