Abstract

Methods of nonlinear dynamics have gained increasing prominence within the field of circuits and systems over the past two decades, but only a small proportion of the research in this area has focused on discreteโ€time circuits. The aim of this paper is to provide a brief survey of some results concerning the nonlinear dynamical behaviour of discreteโ€time circuits. Copyright ยฉ 2007 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.

## Abstract The robust feedback stabilization of a class of nonlinear discreteโ€time systems with unknown constant stateโ€delay and uncertain function of nonlinear perturbations is considered based on linear matrix inequality (LMI)โ€based analysis and design procedures. In this paper, we present the stability criteria, sufficient conditions that guarantee the robust stability of linear structured or unstructured variation of discrete time-delay systems subjected to the given bounds of nonlinear function. Both single and composite nonlinear discrete systems with mul

We consider issues of stability of time-discretization schemes with exact treatment of the linear part (ELP schemes) for solving nonlinear PDEs. A distinctive feature of ELP schemes is the exact evaluation of the contribution of the linear term, that is if the nonlinear term of the equation is zero,
