SHEVlI et al. (1966) isolated a new antibiotic from metabolites of P. chrysogenum under the experimental conditions which they adopted. Because of its strong action against Gram--re bacteria the antibiotic was denoted "~qegapfllin". Negapillin shows marked synergistic or antagordstie influences wh
