โฆ Synopsis
We study the non-linear effects on the dynamical process of the salvation in a polar solvent. On the basis of the non-linear generalized Smoluchowski equation with the linear-response free energy, we calculate the time dependence of the solvent-solute interaction. It is shown that the salvation process becomes slow in the long-time region where the non-linear coupling between the dynamics of the solvent number density and the orientational relaxation is significant.
