โœฆ Synopsis

Abstract

The nitrogen inversion barriers of nine 3,6โ€dihydroโ€1,2โ€oxazines are discussed. Polar solvents were found to increase the nitrogen inversion barriers which, in turn, decrease with increasing size of the Nโ€substituent.

## Abstract The ^1^H NMR spectra of thirteen dihydroโ€1,2โ€oxazine derivatives are reported. Spin decoupling allows analysis of the spectra, features of which include homoallylic couplings of +2 to +2ยท5 Hz, allylic couplings of โˆ’1ยท5 to โˆ’1ยท7 Hz and vicinal couplings across __sp__^2^ to __sp__^3^ carbo
