The vanadium distribution over equilibrium gas oil and resid resistant cracking catalysts and vanadium-loaded cracking catalysts mixed with calcium-exchanged clay has been determined. The results of secondary ion mass spectroscopy imaging are consistent with cracking activity data and show vanadium
