## Abstract The preparation of four series of 3,3‐diMe‐3‐sila‐1‐X‐cyclohexanes (with X=O, S, NMe, Se, Te) is reported. These series are: the parent compounds, the 2‐phenyl derivatives, the 5‐tert. Bu derivatives and the 6‐Me derivatives. Attempts to prepare 4‐substituted derivatives along analoguo
