Abstract
A new design of slot antenna by CPWβfed is proposed for ultrawideband (UWB) applications. The proposed antenna consists of a CPWβfed and a pair of symmetry curved radiating slot. The designed tapered slot antenna covers the bandwidth from 3 to 20 GHz. Simulated and measured results of the new design CPWβfed UWB slot antenna show fairly good performance.
