✦ Synopsis
The (0, 0), (1, 0), (2, 0), (3, 0), and (4, 0) bands of the C 3 ⌬-X 3 ⌬ transition of TiS, between 743-863 nm, were studied using the technique of laser vaporization/reaction with supersonic cooling and laser-induced fluorescence (LIF) spectroscopy. The linewidth of the LIF spectrum obtained was about 250 MHz. The P, Q, and R branches of each ⌬⍀ ϭ 0 subband were observed. A merged least-squares fit of the measured line positions yielded molecular parameters of the v ϭ 0 -4 levels of the C 3 ⌬ state and the v ϭ 0 level of the X 3 ⌬ state.

Rotational analyses of 32 subbands of the near-infrared 3 ⌽ 3 (1) 3 ⌬ system of LaF have been carried out, involving the levels v ϭ 0 -7 of the two states. The three subsystems were first treated as separate singlet systems, directly at equilibrium. Perturbations were revealed in the lower state, as
The A ˜(010) 3 ⌬-X ˜(010) 3 ⌸(b) band spectrum of the CCO radical has been studied in the region from 11,808 to 11,919 cm Ϫ1 by near-infrared diode-laser spectroscopy. A least-squares fit has been made using only part of the observed A ˜(010) 3 ⌬-X ˜(010) 3 ⌸(b) band transitions to obtain molecular
The yttrium monochloride molecule (YCl) has been produced in an electric furnace in a DC discharge tube containing YCl 3 powder and argon gas. Triplet transitions of YCl have been observed and identified for the first time in the emission spectrum and studied using LIF (laser induced fluorescence) t
The near-infrared absorption spectra of the FeC radical have been measured by diode laser spectroscopy in the regions from 11 810 to 13 200 cm -1 . Rotationally resolved 28 new vibronic bands of the 56 Fe 12 C major isotopic species were observed as well as two known bands. Five of them were assigne
The microwave-induced emission spectrum of gaseous \(\mathrm{ZrS}\) has been recorded at high resolution with a Fourier transform spectrophotometer in the region 6900 to \(8800 \mathrm{~cm}^{-1}\). A strong band system located around \(8000 \mathrm{~cm}^{-1}\) is identified as the \(b^{\prime 3} \Pi
