Bao joins Stanford faculty Zhenan Bao has moved from Bell Labs to become an associate professor of chemical engineering at Stanford University. Bao joined Bell Labs in 1995, becoming a distinguished member of technical staff in 2001. Her research interests include flexible plastic electronics, three-dimensional self-assembly strategies, and chemical and biological sensors.
