## Abstract A 71‐year‐old man presented with mucosa‐associated lymphoid tissue (MALT) lymphoma of the submandibular gland 52 months after initial diagnosis of MALT lymphoma of the lung. Ultrasonography showed a well‐demarcated, markedly hypoechoic, heterogeneous solid mass with linear echogenic str

Abstract
We report the imaging and pathologic findings of a case of myopericytoma of the neck in a 70‐year‐old woman, which was diagnosed by ultrasound‐guided core‐needle biopsy. The mass demonstrated homogeneous intense enhancement on contrast‐enhanced CT and was markedly hypervascular on power Doppler sonography. The histopathological findings of the core biopsy were consistent with myopericytoma. © 2011 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J Clin Ultrasound, 2011;

## Abstract ## Purpose The aim was to assess the value of ultrasound (US) in differentiating benign from malignant parotid gland lesions. ## Methods During a 3‐year period, US‐guided fine‐needle aspiration biopsy was performed on 89 parotid lesions with a size ≥5 mm in 68 patients. In 80 (90%) l
Investigations on the ultrasonic appearance of puncture needles in vitro and in vivo are reported. The images from the waterbath phantom correspond closely to those seen in the human body. The surfaces of smooth puncture needles reflect the ultrasonic beam so that, in most cases, the shaft is not vi
