✦ Synopsis

Reorientational and angular momentum correlation tmes (\tau_{c}) and (t_{f}) for (\mathrm{CCl}{4}) and (\mathrm{CS}{2}) in alh anes hate been derived from ({ }^{13} \mathrm{C}) spin-spin relasetion times of (\mathrm{CCl}{4}) and ({ }^{33} \mathrm{~S}) linew idths of (\mathrm{CS}{2}). In contrast with neat hquds, molecular reorientution does not obe! (J)-diffusion, but iends towards, 1 -diffusion in larete solents.

## Abstract The vibrational relaxation and molecular reorientational processes in liquids have been studied in some carbonyl‐containing molecules using the acetonitrile (ACN) solvent. The vibrational and reorientational processes have been studied in correspondence with correlation times. The scree
