✦ Synopsis

Temperature dependent 13C and 3sC1 NMR relaxation times in liquid CC1 are used to derive values of both the reorientational and angular momentum correlation times 70,~ and Tj. The relationship found between i-9,2 and TJ is k quantitntive qreement with the extended J-diffusion model for molecular reorientation.

## Abstract It is demonstrated that in a case where neither the proton nor the natural‐abundance ^13^C‐satellite spectra of a partially oriented molecule carry enough structural information, one can determine the entire molecular geometry by the combined use of several liquid crystals as solvents.
