The Stated Meeting of The Franklin Institute was held at 8:15 P.M. in the Lecture Hall, preceded by a dinner in Franklin Hall at which Silver Members of 1962 were honored. Wynn Laurence LePage, President, presided. The meeting was called to order with approximately 154 members and guests present.

The President stated that the minutes of the stated meeting of November 21, 1962 were published in the December issue of the JOI'RNAL. There being no corrections, the minutes were approved as published.

The President announced that at the Annual Meeting of The Institute to be held on January 16, 1963, ten members are to he elected to the Board of Managers for a term of three years beginning in 1963. He then called on Henry M. Chance, II, Chairman of the Nominating Committee, who made the following report: "Under the provision of Article VIII, Section 3 and Article IV, Section 5 of the By-Laws, the following ten names have been properly placed in nomination to fill the ten vacancies on the Board of Managers which will occur at the Annual Meeting of The Institute on January 16, 1963 :
