โœฆ Synopsis

The December stated meeting of The Franklin Institute was held in the Lecture Hall on Wednesday evening, November 20, 19.50, with approximately 240 persons attending.

The meeting was called to order at 8:30 by the President who reported that the minutes of the stated meeting for October were printed in full in the November issue of the JOURNAL, and that the minutes of the stated meeting for November are printed in the December issue. As there were no corrections or additions, the minutes were approved as printed.

In keeping with Article IV, Section 5 of the By-Laws, the Secretary announced that nominations for the Board of Managers were made in writing, and that the nominations were signed by at least two members who certified that the candidates would serve if elected.

The Stated Meeting of The Frankfin Institute was held at 8:15 p.m. in the Lectm-e Hall, preceded by a dinner in Fralfldin Hall at which Silver Members were honored. The meeting was called to order by Dr. Wynn Laurence LePage, Chairman of the Board, with approximately 320 members and guests present.
