## Abstract By properly loading branch strips to a monopole antenna fed by a coplanar waveguide (CPW) feedline, an antenna with good impedance matching in a wide triple‐band covering PCS‐1900/UMTS‐2100 and the 5.2/5.8 GHz WLAN systems is designed. Prototype of the proposed antenna has been construc

## Abstract A coplanar waveguide (CPW)‐fed triangular monopole antenna with two loaded strips for ultra‐wideband (UWB) operation is proposed. The effects of both loaded strips to the triangular patch and embedded notches to the ground planes are analyzed and optimized to obtain the UWB performance.

## Abstract In this article, a small triple band monopole antenna fed by a coplanar waveguide (CPW) is presented. The proposed antenna has been developed for IEEE802.11 wireless local area network applications in three service bands of 2.4–2.48, 5.15–5.35, and 5.725–5.825 GHz. The small monopole ha
