✦ Synopsis

Abstract

In this paper, two L‐shaped slots are introduced in order to obtain triple‐band operation with a planar monopole antenna fed by a 50Ξ© coplanar waveguide (CPW) transmission line. Prototypes of the proposed antenna with sufficient bandwidths in the 0.9‐, 1.8‐, and 2.15‐GHz bands for GSM, DCS/PCS, and IMT‐2000 systems, respectively, have been constructed and tested. Details of the experimental results are presented and discussed. Β© 2005 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. A cross-shaped slot is introduced in a planar monopole antenna fed by a coplanar waveguide (CPW) in order to achieve broadband dual-frequency operation. This slot-loaded technology can compact the antenna size and lead to good impedance matching in a wide dualband covering 2.4/5.2/5.8-GHz WLAN opera

## Abstract In this article, a small triple band monopole antenna fed by a coplanar waveguide (CPW) is presented. The proposed antenna has been developed for IEEE802.11 wireless local area network applications in three service bands of 2.4–2.48, 5.15–5.35, and 5.725–5.825 GHz. The small monopole ha

## Abstract A compact, dual band coplanar waveguide fed modified T‐shaped uniplanar antenna is presented. The antenna has resonances at 1.77 and 5.54 GHz with a wide band from 1.47–1.97 GHz and from 5.13–6.48 GHz with an impedance bandwidth of 34% and 26%, respectively. Also the antenna has an aver
