A number of derivatives of 2-imino-5,6-dihydi'o-2H-thiopyran have been obtained in fair to good yields by treating the adducts from the a-metallat~dienes H2CffiCH-CH--C(M)X (X ffi OCH 3 tr SCH 3) and isotbioeyanates wi~ a calculated amount of dilute acid.
