## Abstract A novel switchable coplanar waveguide (CPW) notch filter is developed using a microelectromechanical system (MEMS) switch element to perturb a patterned CPW centre‐conductor line. The switch element is easily integrated with the CPW due to isolation of DC bias from RF signal paths. An e

✦ Synopsis
Abstract
Parallel‐coupled microstrip filters with MEMS switchable frequency responses are designed. The 15‐GHz filter switches 5.3% with minimum insertion loss of 0.7 dB, whereas the 20‐GHz filter has 12.9% switching range and minimum insertion loss of 0.6 dB. Both filters have the lowest insertion losses among MEMS tunable microwave bandpass filters to date. © 2008 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. ## Abstract A reduced‐size low‐loss high‐selectivity wideband microstrip bandpass filter is proposed using three λ~__g__~/4 short‐circuited stubs and folded λ~__g__~/2 connecting lines between them. The filter has 2__n__ − 1 poles within the passband, whereas it consists of only __n__ resonators. T
## Abstract In this article, a compact and low loss ring ultra‐wideband (UWB) bandpass filter (BPF) with an enlarged perturbation element is designed and implemented on FR4 substrate. This filter at center frequency f~0~ of 4.16 GHz has presented almost very good measured characteristics including
## Abstract A novel compact ultra‐wideband bandpass filter is designed by using a microstrip three‐mode resonator. The three‐mode resonator is configured by adding a short‐circuited stub and an open stub to a half‐wavelength resonator, and its first three modes are designed to cover a very wide pas
## Abstract An ultra‐wide stopband microstrip lowpass filter(LPF) for harmonics suppression is introduced in this letter. The LPF is composed of three open stubs, a pair of spur‐lines, and a pair of parallel coupled‐lines with symmetrical structure. Measured results verify that the filter has a ret
