A~tract--The influence of the nature and acid strength of two complexing agents, AIEtCI 2 and A1Et2C1, on the alternating copolymerization of styrene and methyl methacrylate in toluene has been investigated. With AIEtC12, a cationic homopolymerization of styrene, which cannot be totally suppressed,
