Abstract
The reasons underlying the experimental fact that r~1~r~2~ = 1 for some ionic copolymerizations are reexamined. It is shown that it is not necessary to consider all propagating ions of equal reactivity in order to explain this fact. It is then shown that anomalous results from anionic copolymerizations may be readily interpreted in terms of classical copolymerization kinetics.
