## Abstract The kinetics of oxidation of di‐proline by manganic sulphate in the acidic medium have been studied. The reaction is first order with respect to dl‐proline and manganic sulphate and inverse first order with respect to hydrogen ions. A reaction mechanism has been proposed.

Kinetics of oxidation of phenylhydrazine and p-bromophenylhydrazine by hexacyanoferrate(I1If in acidic medium have been studied. The reactions follow similar kinetics, being first order with respect to both hydrazine and hexacyanoferrate(II1) and inverse first order with respect to the hydrogen ion.
## Abstract The reaction between benzohydrazide and potassium bromate catalyzed by vanadium(IV) was studied under pseudo‐first‐order condition keeping large excess of hydrazide concentration over that of the oxidant. The initiation of the reaction occurs through oxidation of the catalyst vanadium(I
## Abstract The oxidation of halotoluenes by hexacyanoferrate(III) in aqueous acetic acid containing perchloric acid (0.5__M__) at 50°C gave the corresponding aldehyde as the major product, and a small amount of polymeric material. The order with respect to each of the reactants—substrate, oxidant,
## Abstract The kinetics of the permanganate‐sulfite redox reaction has been studied in the alkaline medium using a stopped‐flow technique. In the pH range 10 to 12 the reaction was found to obey the rate expression: −½__d__[MnO~4~^−^]/__dt__ = (__k__~1~ + __k__~2~[OH^−^]) [MnO~4~^−^] [SO~3~^2−^].
