## Abstract The kinetics of the reaction between __N__‐(2‐hydroxyalkyl) hydroparabanates (HAHP) and __N,N__′‐bis(2‐hydroxyalkyl) parabanates (HAP) with ethylene and propylene oxides were studied. The addition of oxiranes to imide function of HAHP led to the formation of HAP. Further reaction of HAP

Rate constants for the reaction of oxiranes with bis/2-hydroxyalkyl/disulfides, bis/2-hydroxyalkyllsulfides, and 1,6-hexanediol in the presence of N,N-dimethylcyclohexylamine were studied at the temperature range of 50-90Β°C. A mechanism of these reactions has been proposed and its kinetic equation h
