Portland clinkers containing side by side the phases C$, and &As, and optionally also C,AF and C,S, ay be produced by burning pertinent raw meals with added small amounts of CaF, to temperatures 1250-1300ยฐC. Such clinkers exhibit a significantly improved grindability as compared to ordinary portland

โฆ Synopsis
Six cements made from clinkers containing the phases C& CdA,,, C.+AF and CzS in different proportions and ground with different amounts of gypsum were studied with respect to their hydration kinetics as well as composition ans physico-mechanical properties of the hydrated material. Th3 obtained results were compared with those found in a reference ordinary portland cement.
