โฆ Synopsis
The mineralizing effect of 0.5% F-as CaF on the high-temperature reactions in the quaternary system CaO-Al$OS-Fe20S-Si02 was studied in the presence of minor amounts of MgO and K2SO4. The partitioning of fluorine between the calcium aluminate and calcium silicate phases was detennined in relation to the burning temperature and the presence of MgO.

Alkalies in portland cement clinker occur as sulfates and, depending on the amount of SO3 available, may also be present in calcitun silicate and aluminate phases. Introduction of alkalies into clinker minerals modifies their crystal structure which, in turn, can change their hydraulic reactivity. A
Both the chemical and phase compositions of the crystalline interstitial phases in clinker vary significantly depending on the cooling rate and NaaO content of clinker. In slowly cooled clinker the calcium aluminoferrite phase is definitely lower in amount and Al~Oa/Fe~Oa ratio than in rapidly coole
## Abstract To improve the bioactivity of calcium aluminate cement (CAC), which has the potential of restoring defective bone and the joints between artificial prostheses and natural bone, lithium fluoride and maleic acid were added to CAC. Then the bioactivity of the CAC, together with the lithium
