✦ Synopsis
An intrinsically matched coplanar wa¨eguide CPW -fed two-wa¨elength slot-loop antenna operating at 10 GHz has been designed, fabricated, and tested on a 10k⍀ и cm high-resisti¨ity silicon ( ) HRS wafer. The measured return loss y24 dB and far-field radiation patterns are in good agreement with simulated results. The operating ( ) bandwidth defined for a return loss of y10 dB is 0.89 GHz, and the calculated beamwidth is 120Њ, while the gain is 5 dB.

## Abstract Monopoles of 1‐mm axial length are designed and fabricated on silicon substrates of high‐resistivity 5 kΩ‐cm and low‐resistivity 10 Ω‐cm, respectively. We measure their performance up to 110 GHz for wireless interconnects for the first time. The reflection measurements show that a sharp
