## Abstract An interfacing technique between packed‐microcolumn (0.5‐mm i.d.) supercritical fluid chromatography and inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry was investigated. The loading limit of carbon dioxide gas into the plasma system was determined, and the results suggest that
