Infrared absorption spectra of Ar-CO mivturcs sprzycd onto D C&r plate at liquid-helium temperature have ken recorded over a wide range of deposition conditions (temperature, rate, M/R ratio) and recording temperatures. Spectra of samples deposited at 6°K show that the 2138.4 cm -' line should bc at
