โฆ Synopsis
We present infrared spectroscopic measurements of C,, with 27 observed frequencies. Even in the far-infrared some peaks can be resolved. The observed spectra are compared with calculations of the vibrational spectrum of C,,. In this way we can assign symmetry species to 24 of the 27 observed frequencies.
