## Abstract **BACKGROUND:** Policosanol (PC) is a mixture of high‐molecular‐weight aliphatic primary saturated alcohols which possesses cholesterol‐lowering properties. Literature on PC contents and compositions of wheat varieties is limited. The main objective of this study was to evaluate the eff
