The ac magnetoresistance of thin films at frequencies up to 10 kHz was successfully measured. Patterned electrodes with mechanical flexibility were pressed onto the film surface by using a rubber pad. Induction noises were reduced considerably in comparison to the conventional four-electrode method.
The relative magnetic permeability of iron, nickel and permalloy was measured over the range of wave-lengths from 7o to 2oo meters by the heterodyne balance method and by the resonance method. Nothing suggestive of the anomalous dispersion of the magnetic permeability reported in this region by Wwed
## Abstract We investigated the correlation between the surface roughness and the magnetic properties in electroplated NiโFe Permalloy thin films. The NiโFe Permalloy thin films electroplated with electrolytes containing a leveling additive showed reduction of coercivity and increase of permeabilit
